Technology Overview
GORE-TEX
At the core of GORE-TEX technology is an extremely thin membrane that’s durably waterproof, windproof, and breathable. It has over nine billion pores per square inch. Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than water vapor — or sweat. This means that rain is kept out while perspiration vaporizes, so you’ll stay dry no matter what.

Fällt klein aus
Ich habe Schuhgröße 47. Bestellt habe ich Größe 48-50. Sie passen! Aber mir ist schleierhaft, wie diese Überschuhe bei Schuhen der Größe 48-50 passen sollen. Das wird nicht funktionieren, dafür werden sie zu klein sein.
Die Verarbeitung und Funktion sind sehr gut. Aber ich denke, die Qualität des Materials wird dem Produkt eine eher kurze Lebenszeit bescheren. Drei vier Jahre? Kommt natürlich darauf an, wie sie strapaziert werden.
Gute Passform
Ich hatte die Überzieher erst einmal im Einsatz und bin zufrieden. Bei Schuhgröße 39 habe ich die kleinste Größe gewählt und das passt sehr gut. Die Verarbeitung ist bei geringem Gewicht gut. Über die Wasserdichtigkeit und Haltbarkeit kann ich mangels Langzeiterfahrung noch keine Angaben machen. Die gelbe Version verschmutzt natürlich schneller als die schwarze. Dennoch überzeugt mich hier die deutlich bessere Sichtbarkeit.
Super Qualität
Habe andere Overshoes von anderen Marken anprobiert, die konnte man alle nicht gut und schnell anziehen. Diese von Gore sind schnell angezogen und sitzen dann auch sehr gut.
Worked As Expected
Solid. Appears I'll get sev seasons use. Kept feet dry in downpour. Dry enough feet couldnt tell if sweat or some moisture ingress from mostly bare soles. Did great either way, recommend.
Unexpectedly Dry Feet
These overshoes held up to biking in a thunderstorm, even with street shoes on underneath. The velcro makes putting them on quick and adjustable. They were perfect for getting to work with dry socks, and I look forward to longer rides with cozy feet.
