“Our mission was to design a collection that balances contrary needs. Cross country skiers need a wide motion range in the upper body and arms area, yet an athletic fit. And while being protected against wind chill and cold, the fabric must allow enough breathability and ventilation to avoid overheating. The multi-dimensional range of motion in XC Ski is one of the most demanding across all sports disciplines. Athletes need a wide range in the upper body and arm area. GORE® products allow a suitable range of motion with a maximum stretch level, a close to the body shape and an aerodynamic fit without any restrictions in protection.

Our design approach is brought to life in the new X7 GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ Soft Lined Jacket. A snug fit jacket for skiing in cold weather. Quiet and light, with a persistent beading surface to ward off light rain. Highly breathable, sweat will move away from the skin during even the hardest workouts.
