Passform leider kritisch
Die Spinshift Regenjacke präsentiert sich leider als eine Enttäuschung für Personen mit breiterer Statur. Selbst in der Größe XXL wirkt die Jacke zu eng, was besonders im Winter problematisch ist, wenn man dickere Kleidungsschichten darunter tragen möchte. Dies schränkt die Bewegungsfreiheit ein und macht die Jacke weniger praktisch für kältere Tage. Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt ist die Sichtbarkeit. Für eine Regenjacke, die oft bei schlechten Wetterverhältnissen getragen wird, bietet sie zu wenig Features, die die Sicherheit durch bessere Sichtbarkeit erhöhen. Insgesamt könnte diese Jacke für manche Nutzer aufgrund dieser Einschränkungen ungeeignet sein.
Super Jacke, schlechter Schnitt
Die Jacke ist sehr gut verarbeitet und sieht gut aus. Ich musste sie leider zurück schicken, da sie sehr klein geschnitten ist. Ich bin 180cm groß bei 92kg Körpergewicht und habe die Jacke in XL bestellt. Da ich viel Kraftsport mache ist mir die Jacke im Brustbereich und vor allem an den Oberarmen viel zu eng. Vermutlich ist das Problem auch bei XXL vorhanden. Und wenn ich die Jacke noch größer bestelle dann sitzt sie wie eine Zeltplane. Leider ist die Jacke für die Figure eines abgemagerten Rennradsportlers ausgelegt.

I haven't tried the jacket out in rainy weather yet. Fit is good as well as lightness and packability. I think this jacket design is what I was looking for in a light rain jacket. Color is also very visible.
Worth it?
I now have about 100 hours on my new jacket. Previously had a Shake Dry.
I’m 5’10”, 150. I do not like the skin tight aero fit, so I have a large in both jackets. I can get two wool shirts or a thin puffy under both. The Spinshift is cut slightly larger.
The three drawbacks of the Spinshift for me are the lack of a neck adjustment, the sleeves being too long and not tight enough to keep them off of the heal of my hand, and the price.
Yea, it’s water tight but that’s a pretty low bar these days.
The Zipper was the weak part of the ShakeDry. The Spinshift seems to be slightly larger/heavyer.
Wish it came with some red markings for visibility.
I got this for 25% off and am happy with my purchase….if I can’t get a new ShakeDry.
