Technology Overview
GORE-TEX
At the core of GORE-TEX technology is an extremely thin membrane that’s durably waterproof, windproof, and breathable. It has over nine billion pores per square inch. Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than water vapor — or sweat. This means that rain is kept out while perspiration vaporizes, so you’ll stay dry no matter what.

Das 2018-er Modell war besser…
Nachdem ich die Endure nun ein ein halbes Jahr getragen habe, fallen mir zwei Dinge auf, die ich an meiner GORE C5 Active Trail Hooded Jacket von 2018 besser fand: Zum einen sind bei der aktuellen Endure- Jacke die Bündchen am Arm ca. 2 cm enger genäht. Zu eng! Das heißt, beim Jacke ausziehen immer Bike-Handschuhe und Uhr vorher ausziehen. Sehr unpraktisch!
Zudem war die Brusttasche bei der 2018-er GORE C5 Active Trail Jacket unschlagbar praktisch. Leicht erreichbar für Riegel oder Smarphone. Die bei der aktuellen Endure seitlich angeordneten Taschen sind auf der Tour mit Rucksack auf schwer zu erreichen, zu öffnen und zu schließen.
Dafür hat die 2023 Endure Jacke die bessere Kapuze, passt perfekt über den Helm.
Die neue Endure Jacke trage ich nun bei Wandern und Golfen - auf dem Bike hab ich weiterhin die 2018- er C5 an!
