    GORE-TEX

Delivering maximum comfort and protection in a wide range of activities and weather conditions, garments made with GORE-TEX fabric are durably waterproof, windproof and very breathable.
Even if the rain is pouring and you’re sweating our apparel keeps you dry. Guaranteed. This may sound impossible but in the GORE-TEX fabric there are billions of tiny pores that are 20,000 times smaller than a water drop but 700 times larger than water vapor. Rain is kept out while perspiration vaporizes, meaning you’ll stay dry no matter what. Nothing to it really, just cutting edge science.

    GORE® C3 GORE-TEX Active Jacket is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket - however... Firstly, want to say this is a great jacket - however it's very fragile and tears easily. While riding I brushed against a tree only to discover a tear in the arm. Any of my other jackets would have been fine, but sadly this is the one negative about this jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It does work well on rainy days. It is too hot to wear as a windbreaker. You will want to take it off as soon as it stops raining. Recommend a full sleeve under layer or it will feel clammy against the skin. As others have stated it runs a bit large and has a relaxed fit. It fits more like a MTB jacket. It actually goes great with the gore MTB pants of the same texture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality, poor cut For something that's made for cyclists, this jacket is surprisingly baggy. The arms and body have a ton of extra material. To be fair, the description makes it clear that it is designed not to be restrictive when you are active, but in reality it does not look like any other cycling apparel I have ever worn before. Only knocking off one star for that - otherwise I am sure it would be a 5-start product. Unfortunately I will have to return it for this reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does exactly what it says on the tin Bought this as a last minute panic purchase the day before setting out on the C2C and really glad I did. Was initially concerned that it appeared so lightweight & flimsy that it couldn't offer much protection. Happy to report my concerns were completely unfounded. working hard uphill on a gravel track atop the Pennines in horizontal rain this jacket kept the wind and the rain out perfectly, and my body was comfortable - unlike my colleagues who were shivering uncontrollably. Great bit of kit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good jacket, poor reflexivity Overall the jacket is great, comfy next to skin, which is not always the case with laminated jackets, built quality like you would expect from Gore...and from the price. Only drawback are the rubbish reflexivity : only two small details on the back, and they reflect quite poorly, which is ashaming for a hiviz jacket !
