Very Impressed
I ordered this for a light layer in anticipation of the cold weather approaching. I figured it would be warm enough until it got to the actual winter however, i’ve Been wearing this with a light windbreaker and i’ve been too hot. I even wore it under a t-shirt and found myself way too hot. I count this as a win for Gore considering how effective it’s been along with how thin and lightweight it is. Definitely going to look into more gear from them in the future.

Better than expected
I was unsure what to expect, but the fit is great, quality superb. I have used it in cool weather, and it performed better than I anticipated.

Just right for a base layer.
I'm a cold weather wimp. So, when I find a line that works, I stick with it. This was my first time going with this particular type of base layer and I'm happy to say it works. I've been riding with this base layer and an outer shell as low as 37 degrees F with no problem. I've been as low as 30F with a fleece layer and that works well too. I think I'll be getting a few more of these.

Everything a cool-to-cold base layer should do
True to the description, if fits close, without binding. Extremely lightweight, but it allows your insulating layer to do it's job. I've worn this on windy rides in the low 30's, with a Gore Oxygen long-sleeved jersey and Phantom jacket. It proved to be a powerful combination keeping me dry, and shielded from wind.
I'm cold-natured. Keeping me warm and dry — without chilling as a result of overheating — has always been tough. Gore products, while an investment, simply work.

fantastic
It might seem to be too light to be a winter baselayer, but it is not - just right. Down to -2 Celsius so far (with Fusion Tool softshell) and I didn't even start to think about a midlayer. Together with Gore fleece lined softshell it offer a super breathable outfit.
A very big plus are long enough sleeves (which in many shirts by other cycling brands happens not to be the case).
