Your hands and wrists do something extraordinary when you’re cycling: They carry a portion of your body weight and absorb shocks. Our gloves protect you from painful pressure points and friction on longer trips and on any terrain. Light and thin models ensure a comfortable fit in the hot summer months. And with waterproof GORE-TEX, windproof GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ or insulating thermo gloves, your hands will always stay warm and dry.

Delivering maximum comfort and protection in a wide range of activities and weather conditions, garments made with GORE-TEX fabric are durably waterproof, windproof and very breathable.
Even if the rain is pouring and you’re sweating our apparel keeps you dry. Guaranteed. This may sound impossible but in the GORE-TEX fabric there are billions of tiny pores that are 20,000 times smaller than a water drop but 700 times larger than water vapor. Rain is kept out while perspiration vaporizes, meaning you’ll stay dry no matter what. Nothing to it really, just cutting edge science.

    C5 GORE-TEX Gloves is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flawed Design I've rode over 1,000 miles with these gloves in a broad range of temperatures (27 F - 50 F) and needless to say, I've spent quite a bit of time reflecting on the (lack of) performance. In a nutshell, I would not recommend these gloves but I'll outline all of the key features: -- Temperature range: I've used these in a broad range of temperatures but I would only recommend using these between 38 F (~ 2 C) and 45 F (~ 7.2 C). -- Waterproofing: These gloves do a really good job of repelling water but I'd be leery of wearing these in downpouring rain (then again, who rides in 38 F - 45 F rain!?) -- Resilience: The palms of these gloves have withstood standard wear-and-tear but the stitching has slowly come undone and a hole has developed between two fingers. -- FLAWED DESIGN: The internal finger liner routinely separates from the exterior finger shell. This seemingly small issue is HUGELY consequential for cyclists because your hands will invariably sweat during a ride and therefore stick to the internal liners, which will then result in the exterior shell separating from the liner. That would be a mere annoyance if the liner would easily go back into the exterior shell. It doesn't - the exterior finger shell is incredibly narrow, which makes it so difficult that I've spent more than five minutes on at least a half dozen rides - on the side of the road, mind you - trying to fix this issue. There have been times that I've grown so frustrated by this, I've continued to ride with the liner bunched up inside the finger, which has caused numbness in my hand. (This is also pretty dangerous because your hand control is diminished). Lastly, this flawed design makes it near impossible to either remove or put your gloves back on while riding. This issue isn't unique to me - I've literally spoken with a number of other cyclists that have had this very problem. -- Touchscreen: These do not work with a cell phone screen. You will need to remove these each time you need to use your phone. I wouldn't recommend these gloves. Gore, please address the flawed design - these could be improved and a market leader!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not last My other Gore gloves including other brands I have, and even cheap gloves I've bought, have a reinforced area between the thumb and forefinger. These don't, so a combination of the stitching coming undone and the material wearing away has meant that these have worn out much quicker than my other gloves- which is a big disappointment. The fingertips and everywhere else is absolutely fine. Usually use them for commuting in the rain only, as they don't breath too well in dry weathers (for that I I use my Windstopper gloves). Temperature range 0-10C. Can fit liners when it is closer to freezing. Always was impressed with their waterproofness on my 40 minute commutes, or 1.5hr training rides, however I did a 5hr cycle in almost constant rain and they became completely saturated and my hands got very cold at 5c even with merino wool liners.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Waterproof, not so durable an very small First these are sized very small, I actually have 3 pairs, 2 that need returning. I’m usually a M in gloves and L in motorbikes gloves. In these the XL is a little tight. 5’7” male. Out for a heavily wet mountain bike and these outperformed Sealskinz considerably. It’s a pity they are not Xtrafit as the liner does shift a lot. The fit and work well with over cuffs and they are warm ish. The silicone pads lasted about 2 hours from new before falling off the fingers. I would not say mountain bike specific, but not unsuitable. Better for road or walking. 3 stars because the silicone fell off on first wear, poor liner fixing and the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Pro durably waterproof I had em on few rides for about an hour each under heavy rain. kept my hand dry Con L is ridiculously small. Had to reorder XL and now I kinda sorry not ordering XXL. I own Rapha, Assos, Dakine gloves in size L and all fit perfectly well. Not as warm as expected. At 41F my hands are freezing and even XL is too tight to wear with thin liner gloves. Design is on a bulky side and don't go well under shakedry cuffs but fit and look perfect with trail waterproof jacket. I recommend to order size up or order few sizes and use free return option.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great in cold weather but NOT waterproof I have ridden in these gloves through a Michigan winter and they performed well in temp of 30 degrees and up. This morning I rode for 1.5 hours in a steady rain and the inside of the glove was soaking wet after 45 minutes. Cuffs were covered by my rain jacket so my wet hands were purely a (mis)function of these very expensive (non)waterproof gloves. Pass on these if you are looking to ride in the rain and cold.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does not breathe at all These are definitely 100% waterproof. However, sweat does not evaporate AT ALL from these gloves. The sweat will literally pool up so bad that you have to take the gloves off to wring out the sweat. Always happens to me after about 6 miles. Not good for runs longer than that. Disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for runs, or walks in the park The gloves are exceeding expectations in rain or sun anywhere between 25 and 45F. They've kept my hands dry from the rain and sweat on runs as well as leisure walks with the family. There's no sign of wear after taking them with me on 20+ activities. Considering getting another pair to leave in the car. I'm a 5'11 male, with medium/small sized hands and small fits me like a glove.
