Technology Overview

GORE-TEX

At the core of GORE-TEX technology is an extremely thin membrane that’s durably waterproof, windproof, and breathable. It has over nine billion pores per square inch. Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than water vapor — or sweat. This means that rain is kept out while perspiration vaporizes, so you’ll stay dry no matter what.

How to take measurements

  1. Waist
    Measure around the narrowest part (below the bottom rib and above the hip bones), keeping the tape horizontal.

  2. Hips
    Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape horizontal.

  3. Inside Leg
    Measure from the top of your inner leg along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.

Great windproof and rain-proof pants

Very Good

Kept my legs and rear end dry in downpour, most important. I don't like the large letterring style. I actually hate it. But I'm a function over form man and these function well so no complaints actually, I take the hate back. Very light and thin, however feels a bit durable at same time. Totally dry. Snap closure cuffs keep hem well away from drivetrain. I own several goretex products including several kokatat dry suits and have used several generations of gore from 90's to now. I have not encountered a better material at this weight. While much thinner the workmanship compares favorably to my current gen kokatat dry tops and appear hand made.

Incredible product

The fit for me and cycling cut are incredible riding and hiking. Windproof and waterproof and very comfortable with breathability. I am very pleased with the product and cant wait to wear them again!

Excellent Cycling Rain Pant

I first purchased a Medium but exchanged for a Small. I'm 5'-10" and 150 lbs. with a 32" waist. The waist doesn't have any extra room, but it's elastic so it doesn't matter. I'm wearing them on top of work pants during my cycling commute. I like that they are slimmer at the bottom, so they don't touch the chain. I still purchased some cheap calf compression sleeves to go over top of the pants to help keep the pants cleaner. There's so much road grime during the commute, and I don't want to get that on these nice rain paints.

Riding Pants

I used them a couple of times riding Mt. Bike. Really like them , light , keeps wind out, twice in the snow. All I use is layer of merino wool leggings' and these pants . Perfect
