Rated 3 out of 5 by pete from So close! The materials in this jacket are cutting edge, and it has great potential. However, a few cut corner, presumably for cost, keep it from being a home rum. At least one chest pocket, inside or out, or dare I suggest both, two outside and one inside, are sorely missing. If you're involved in an activity which this jacket is designed for i.e., cycling or hiking, you're going to want chest pockets for your cel phone, valuables, tissues, chapstick, etc., period. Putting those items in a hand warmer pocket which you might forget to zip closed is a bad idea. Next, you can talk all you want about "breathability" and "temperature regulation", but the best way to avoid overheating is to physically self regulate by dumping heat with pit zips. Add those features, charge $50 more, and I'm in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Martha from Warm when I needed it. I bought this jacket before a fat biking trip to Finland. It did the job under 30 degrees F. I wore a merino baselayer 2 and sometimes a light baselayer. Perfectly warm and could move. It was worth the cost but I feel they could have put a better quality zipper on the jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mhighman from Amazing Jacket for anything less than 20*F This jacket can do it all. If its warmer out its almost like it adjusts so it can breathe more. If it's cold... it keeps you warm. Its made well... blocks what it has to and lets out what needs to. Very happy!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Podiumcrasher from Fantastic warmth and the go to winter bike jacket I am really a big fan of Gore bike clothes and have high expectations based on past purchases. This jacket fits the bill for cold weather riding. Due to durability issues with the side pockets becoming separated from jacket i give three stars. I should mention that this occurred on the first jacket and then on a second jacket that was warrantied. Finally took a razor blade and cut out the pocket then patched the pocket hole closed inside and out hopefully forever. Down the road I would consider buying an updated version once the pocket design is rectified.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Flynn from Great jacket on, and off the bike This jacket is one of those items that come out in the winter, and gets used often. It's very warm, wind resistant, and one of the most breathable insulating layers I've ever worn. As such, it has a wide range of exertion intensity that it can be worn during without sweating, but certainly during very cold and biting days. I use this jacket just as much off the bike as on it because of it's comfort and casual fit. I overheat easily, so having a breathable but warm jacket like this keeps me from taking it on and off too much throughout the day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by hagus06 from 15 degree and below jacket This Jacket is awesome. It will keep you warm, but sometimes to warm. This Jacket is for really cold weather 15 and below. This jacket and a short sleeve base layer is perfect for the snow.
