Ideal for road cycling in very cold or damp conditions. A zipper placed to the inside of the foot, away from the achilles tendon, allows for easy on and off, while maintaining the tight smooth fit.

Overshoes need to be tight fitting for the best fit and protection. Using a completely new material with fleece backing and high uni-directional stretch allowed us to make the overshoe out of single piece of fabric. Using just one dart we were able to create the shape around the ankle giving a completely smooth, tight finish.

Bike shoe covers

Like everything about coverings but when putting on, over bike shoes, it puts a tremendous stress on the zipper and I am worried the zipper will fail quickly. Your thoughts.

Do what they have to do!

I was skeptical about this gear, since I never felt the coldness in my feet until this winter (my first in US). I started wearing wool socks but even like that there were coldness in the toes. Two days ago, was my first time using this covers and I felt the difference, I was riding in 27F - 35F and windy, was a good feeling, cold anyway, but not that cold in the toes! About the quality, they look good and solid, but only used twice. Definitely recommend if you do not skip the winter rides.

Good for 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit

I have tried this only twice so far. My rides are often for 2 hours and this is perfect for above 45 degrees. Below 45, my toes start freezing after an hour and half into my ride. In terms of size, it runs small. I have a pair of Shimano shoes that are sized 42, which is 8.5 US or 7.5 UK. But only the largest size 12.0-13.5 actually fits my shoes.

Nice overshoes

I had trouble with one of the zipper sticking and not closing properly. Gore replaced the overshoe without any fuss which was great
