Shorts Strom Mujer

Yea, I know these were meant for storms...but over my winter tights they are the perfect top layer. In dry conditions they keep my thighs and lower back just that bit warmer. Freezing slosh on my low back no longer cuts my rides short. I am 28.5 waist,38 hips, and chose a size medium. These fit loose, but not too loose. I have free range of motion without getting drafty. Using an inner drawstring at the waist, like sweatpants, rather than zipper and button or velcro make them easy to fit and easy to remove. No velcro means no snagging anything lycra! Some may wish for elastic, but elastic wears out, drawstrings can be replaced adding longer life to the garment. The zippered pockets are well placed, and my garage door opener is handy to press on my thigh without even opening the pocket! I expect to use these during the summer when bike touring/packing as that easy to carry and pull out-caught in the rain layer. Plus, post rain, I'll be able to sit on wet ground or park benches to eat my snacks. I am super pleased with this purchase.

When i ride road or gravel in cold weather, I often wear bike tights that have some wind protection in the front - but not in the back, for venting (obs). But my rear is always freezing. These shorts, with a light tight, on a damp day were great - offering wind and water protection for my backside, but without overheating. I like them a lot.
