Each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a drop of water, but 700 times larger than water vapor — or sweat. Torrent jacket

nice jacket but I bought the large which matched my measurements as they had posted, but was too small so I had to return it for the XL. Sizes run small. All my other bicycle jackets are large and fit just fine. So size one up.

The perfect cycling jacket.

Waterproof. Windproof. Breathable. Readily packable. A light base layer underneath on cold mornings and I'm good to go. After many other "solutions" I finally broke down and bought the very best.

Great

Gorewear makes excellent jackets, but the Torrent is exceptional. I have used it for 3 months, mainly as a windbreaker on very cold days (25F-40F). I love the slim fit, the build quality, and the fact that it breathes well even during tempo efforts. Note that there are no pockets, but I am OK with this because it's designed as a rain jacket (pockets will eventually result in water leakage in heavy rain). I have not tested it in heavy rain yet, but I will update this review if it disappoints. I am 5'9", 150 lbs, and I wear a US S.

Excellent Quality All Weather Jacket

I continue to be impressed with Gore's line of cycling jackets. This jacket is perfect as a nice wind barrier in shoulder seasons here in New England. It's a more substantial piece than your typical flyweight windbreaker, but it also offers better insulating properties and of course it's fabulous when/if wet weather arrives.
